Mike Davis
Each week he shares God’s word and how it might apply to our lives.
Mike became aware of the importance of letting Jesus Christ be the Lord of his life when he was a teenager. When he was in the army God used a group of men to encourage him in his walk as the Lord Jesus Christ would want. From this he realized the importance of the encouragement of others. Mike is on a journey of discovery in regard to the life changing experience of living and loving like Jesus. He believes that a person can experience this wonderful life changing journey if they will submit themselves to the words and ways of Jesus Christ.
Mike and his wife Laura have four adult children. They believe that the relationship between individuals is of extreme importance. They seek to model the example of what God would want for us in our relationship with one another.
Matt Griswold
Matt Griswold is the Worship Leader at Connexion. Matt works closely with our Lead Pastor Mike to supplement the preaching with music. He leads people with music to hear the word of God more clearly. He is an energetic guy who loves to sing and play his guitar. Matt also believes that worship should be a time that the individuals connect with the heart of God.
When Matt was 7 years old, he made a commitment to follow Jesus Christ. Since then, life has had its ups and downs. He has figured out that when life gives you "ups" or "downs", God has never, and will never leave you, no matter how dark your situation seems. He has devoted himself to help lead a group of people, to do God's work here in Mt. Vernon. He believes that God has a mighty work to be done, and is confident that God will use every day, ordinary people to spread the Gospel of Jesus to many. The relationship of a person with that of Jesus is the most important relationship a person can ever be involved in. Matt is not concerned with where our people have been in their lives, but is extremely interested in helping them live life to the fullest for our Lord Jesus.
Matt, and his wife Mary, have one child, Emma.

Julie Berry
Julie Berry is the Children’s Leader of Kidz Rock at Connexion. Julie has a passion for teaching and working with children. She became a Christ follower when she was 9 years old. Julie is thankful for the adults that took time to help her grow in her relationship with Jesus when she was a young girl. She wants to help the children of Connexion know and experience God’s unconditional love each week in Kidz Rock. Julie and her husband, Jason, have 2 daughters, Madilyn and Lauren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, music, and reading.
